Hg is looking for up to $2bn in financing to support its acquisition of OneStream, according to 9fin sources.
The sponsor is seeking between $1.6bn to $2bn of debt from private credit lenders, sources said, which would be structured as an annual recurring revenue loan. Lenders in talks to provide the financing include Blue Owl and Apollo, the sources added.
A financing deal, and its terms, have not yet been finalized, they said.
Last week, OneStream announced that it had entered an agreement to be acquired by Hg and minority investors including General Atlantic and growth equity firm Tidemark, in a transaction that would value the company at $6.4bn.
In the third quarter of 2025, the company reported total revenue of $154m, up about 19% from its $129m reported in Q3 24. At the time, the company projected total revenue between $594m and $596m for fiscal year 2025, per company filings.
OneStream is an AI-enabled financial services platform which supports consolidation, planning, reporting and analytics.
Hg and General Atlantic declined to comment. TideMark, OneStream, Blue Owl and Apollo did not respond to requests for comment.
