Sami began his journalism career at the Financial Times, working with the corporate finance and deals team and contributing to the Due Diligence newsletter. He then moved to the Jerome Levy Forecasting Center, writing economic research publications on macroeconomic and financial conditions where he covered a wide array of macro topics such as the Chinese property market crisis, US labor shortages, and international supply chain issues. Sami also holds a BA in History from the City College of New York.
