Rachel Butt has been covering distressed debt for more than 9 years. She began her career at Debtwire, where she chronicled restructurings in the oil patch. She then moved on to Bloomberg, where she covered high-profile situations, including the Chinese property market crisis and the bankruptcy filing of businesses founded by conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
