Alberto holds a Law Degree from ITAM (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México) and a Master of Laws from NYU School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Mexico and is awaiting admission to the New York State Bar. After graduating law school, he first joined Galicia Abogados in Mexico City, practicing in the Energy and Project Finance Groups and, after his Master of Laws, he then joined MidRail, a freight rail investment company. His experience includes advising US and Mexican clients, including developers and lenders, on Project Finance and Infrastructure transactions in connection with power and oil & gas projects as well as fund formation and regulatory matters in private equity transactions.
